Hello! My name is Mrs. Michelle McClarran and I am thrilled to be starting my 27th year in education! I started my teaching journey in Texas, but in 2013 my family and I moved to Colorado. My husband Mike is a pilot for Southwest Airlines and we have 2 daughters ages 13 and 16. Our younger daughter, Kendall, is an 8th grader at Rocky Heights and our older daughter, Kaley, is in 11th grader at Rock Canyon. We also have a sweet yellow Lab puppy named Toby. As a family we enjoy spending our time together hiking, traveling, and exploring the many beautiful places of Colorado and the United States. When we are not hiking and traveling, you can find us on the soccer field or volunteering with the National Charity League. 

Throughout my career, I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math as well as Algebra I. This year I will be teaching Math 6 and Accelerated Math 7. I am passionate about helping my students develop a love of learning while finding real world ways to apply mathematical skills and concepts to everyday life. I am excited about being back in the classroom and I am looking forward to having a great year!
