Hello! My name is Mrs. Michelle McClarran and I am thrilled to be starting my 26th year in education! I started my teaching journey in Texas, but in 2013 my family and I moved to Colorado. My husband Mike is a pilot for Southwest Airlines and we have 2 daughters ages 12 and 15. Our younger daughter, Kendall, is a 7th grader at Rocky Heights and our older daughter, Kaley, is in 10th grader at Rock Canyon. We also have a sweet yellow Lab named Zoey. As a family we enjoy spending our time together hiking, traveling, and exploring the many beautiful places of Colorado and the United States. When we are not hiking and traveling, you can find us on the soccer field or volunteering with the National Charity League. 

Throughout my career, I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, as well as Algebra I. This year I will be teaching Math 6, Math 7, and Accelerated math 7 on the Pathfinder and Adventurer Team. I am passionate about helping my students develop a love of learning while finding real world ways to apply mathematical skills and concepts to everyday life. I am excited about being back in the classroom and I am looking forward to having a great year!
