Open Enrollment for the 26-27 school year round one is open November 3 - November 30. Open enrollment is required if you would like to attend Rocky Heights Middle School but you live in the boundaries of another DCSD middle school. Open enrollment round two is open January 22 - August 3, 2026 for the 26-27 school year.

Intent to Remain Form
If your child(ren) are currently at a DCSD charter school or open enrolled at another school and you live in the RHMS boundaries, please complete the Intent to Return form by January 5, 2026 if you would like to attend Rocky Heights for the 2026-2027 school year. If you do not turn in the Intent to Return form by January 5, 2026, you will need to apply for open enrollment round two.
Current DCSD parents
Use parent portal/Engaged username and password to log into the tool. Parents now need to add “@p.dcsdk12.org when logging into the engaged parent portal.
ie) username@p.dcsdk12.org.
School Tours
Due to the high volume of requests, we provide school tours on a monthly basis in a group format. Tours typically last about 30 minutes. Curriculum questions will be directed to specific literacy specialists with the tour consisting of an orientation of the building. There is no RSVP required for school tours. Tours begin promptly at the designated time and will be cancelled if no one is in attendance.
