This week, students will be concluding their Unit 3 nonfiction district assessment by writing an Extended Constructed Response (ECR). In addition, they will take the planning work completed last week for their Expository Essays and begin drafting. If their plans are strong and detailed, the essay writing process will be much smoother and more effective.

This week we are wrapping up the Louisiana Purchase, and Marbury Vs. Madison. We will have a map quiz on Tuesday, and then finish up the week working on Historical Clickbait.

This week students will complete the Natural Selection CER during block class. We will review CERs during class on Monday. Our next topic will be artificial selection. Please remind students to check the Google Classroom Stream if they are absent.
