STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES ARE THIS TUESDAY (A-L) AND THURSDAY (M-Z)
FROM 3:45-7:00 PM!

This week students will be completing the Unit 1 district assessment and writing their narratives. The assessment has five sections: 4 with multiple choice questions, and 1 with a one paragraph written response. Students will complete 1 or 2 sections each day and spend additional class time drafting their narratives.

This week we are looking at the strengths and weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation. We will work on readings, graphic organizers, and writing an opinion piece.

This week we’ll be continuing our waves unit by learning about electromagnetic waves. Students who were absent for the Mechanical Waves Quiz before break should plan on making it up this week during team time or during access on block days.

Love art? Mrs. King will be offering an Art Club after school most Thursdays second quarter until 4:15 p.m. We will start October 31. (Sorry! No Art Club on Oct. 24 due to student-led conferences.) We will do a variety of activities including drawing, painting, and clay! Art Club is open to all students in grades 6 - 8. Sign up early on MySchoolBucks! Art Club always sells out fast.
