ALA - Students will create a mosaic based on the short story read last week “Flowers for Algernon.” Ultimately, the mosaic should support a theme developed by the story. Students will then read and analyze an excerpt from Fahrenheit 451 and craft an ECR.

LA - Students will analyze elements of the plot of “The Monkey’s Paw.” Students will analyze, character, conflict, and setting. Using their analysis, they will support a thematic statement developed in the story.

Introducing our Nighthawk Scholars Club!

This club provides a resource for students to gain support with homework assignments, allow students to access additional resources, and an opportunity to learn with their peers and share learning experiences. We would like to invite you to opt-in your student if you think this is a good resource for your student. Your student will have an opportunity  to “opt” themselves in as well.

The next sessions are  September 24th & 26th from 3:00-4:00 pm in the library.

Should you wish to opt your student in for this club, please use this link to do so.
