Students will complete reading the assigned chapters for the class novel and the attached vocabulary assignment. 

Students will use i-Ready diagnostic results to set metacognitive goals.

Students will compare two accounts of Sojourner Truth’s speech to the Women’s Rights Convention in 1848. 

Students will break down her speech and analyze it for parts of an argument.

The Kinetic vs. Potential Energy Quiz grades were entered on Monday.  Students who didn't earn at least a 3 on the quiz will be able to retake the quiz after they have met with Ms. Haney.

This week students will be continuing to learn about thermal energy transfer.

This week we are wrapping up our overview of the New England colonies and moving on to the Middle Colonies.  We will also be gearing up for a map quiz on Colonial America that will take place next week.

This week in health we will be focusing on our physical health. What makes it so hard to be physically active all the time. We also will be keeping a sleep diary for the week. 

Make up fitness tests will be during access this week.
