This week, we are wrapping up our Everyone Loves a Mystery Unit. Students will be completing their book club novels and drafting their personal narrative essays (due Thursday). Throughout the unit students have been piecing together their personal narrative. They’ve created an outline for the plot, developed their characters, and created the setting using imagery. The goal is to develop a personal narrative that creates suspense, has a theme, and incorporates the elements and structure from pieces read during the unit.
